London Bridge Resort is all-suite waterfront resort located on 110-acres featuring restaurants, bars, nightlife, specialty shopping, meeting and banquet space, 3-swimming pools, Splash Pool and Waterslide, and a 9-hole executive golf course.  We are centrally located and the World Famous London Bridge is adjacent to our property.   

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for fostering and developing an exciting, positive, results based environment for the food and beverage team.  The Food and Beverage Manager is tasked with the operating performance of Martini Bay, In-Room Dining, Splash Grill, and assisting with Banquet Services.  This individual will exercise exemplary skills in managing the delivery of consistent and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for on floor event management, food and beverage day-to-day functions, including staff management, guest interactions, administration, and vendor communications
  • Develop, support, and execute strong operational standards
  • Develop and support strong training and coaching programs for team members
  • Manage inventory, par levels, and cost controls
  • Responsible for hiring and management of team including processing all personnel paperwork
  • Ensure quality and consistency of food and beverage
  • Oversee and count monthly inventories for food, beverage, and supplies
  • Assist in the marketing and promotion of food and beverage outlets
  • Oversee the ordering of food and beverage inventory
  • Manages and measures performance of direct reports
  • Responsible for menu development, menu costing, and food and beverage costs
  • Responsible for financial management of food and beverage outlets
  • Proven experience in banquet and catering settings
  • Maintain a safe work environment for team members. Regularly inspect for safety issues and immediately resolve any hazards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain communication strategies to ensure team members are well informed and knowledgeable in company philosophy, product knowledge, promotions, specials, upcoming calendar events, etc.
  • Establish and build relationships with guests in an effort to create loyalty and drive revenue
  • Participate as a department head in other aspects of London Bridge Resort, as appropriate

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in food and beverage or restaurant management
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Strong Communication skills required
  • Strong Leadership skills required
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Wine Knowledge is desirable
  • Aloha POS experience is preferable
  • Must have ServSafe Certification
